Having lived in Dubai for more than 2 decades LIFE has been one interesting journey so far. And in an interesting way is still exciting on what the future holds.
When I first came to Dubai, my plan was to live here for 2 years and return home to Bangalore, India. I look at all these years I have lived here and the experiences, the learnings, the growth, the success, the romance, the heartaches, the goosebumps, the riches, the world travels, the joy and the success all appear like a flashback ‘mind movie’.

Relationships
Be it with your parents, siblings, friends, partner, ex-partner, children, relatives, colleagues, or boss, whatever the relationship be, we are all striving to have relationships that are nurturing, caring and mutually respecting. And yet, we find it most challenging to have a joyful one which adds to each other's life and grows for greater.

Mental Health
Depression is more openly talked about during these times where future of many have become unpredictable. Most often created by stress, boredom, fear of losing money or not having enough, lack of self-worth, and lack of being needed, among others contribute to the depression and mental health of an individual. Most often, people don’t even know or acknowledge that they have a problem on hand and even if they do, they find it very hard to seek help based on the fear of being judged by family, friends or society. And those who do seek medical help do overcome depression with Medication, although just taking medication is not enough. Everyone needs someone to talk to freely without having the fear of being judged or made wrong. Most importantly not all can afford huge Psychiatric assistance. Physical Health
Doctors, good nutritional diet, exercise are all key to being in good physical condition. There are many other factors that create dis-ease in our bodies and at times it is influenced by our genes as well. Most often than not, dis-ease is caused by the underlying aspect of how we feel and think about life, our past and our future. Our lifestyle, our environment and how we value life. There are several tools and techniques to facilitate change in the body as well: like Meditation, Home Remedies, Energy Healing. etc.

I met Patricia for a session as I was suicidal and was under medication for depression. Although, the pills helped me, I was becoming totally dependent on them and I felt something was wrong with me and everyone around me started taking pity on me. I wanted to come out of this situation once and for all or simply die. Patricia was so vulnerable she shared her own experiences with depression and comforted me and gave me the courage that I can come out of this mental state. I did a couple of sessions with her when she was visiting India and even after returning to Dubai, she always was available to me over the phone.
